I am a senior scientist and project manager working on assignment for URS Corporation serving in the FEMA Hurricane Katrina Transitional Recovery Office in New Orleans, Lousiana.  For nearly three years, my work with FEMA has included both response and recovery activities for the Infrastructure Branch - Public Assistance Section as an Environmental Specialist, Reports Specialist, and Project Officer.  I am currently working as a Project Officer developing public infrastructure restoration projects for the FEMA Alternate and Improved Projects Team.  My responsibilities include formulation of special projects for St. Bernard Parish, Jefferson Parish, and Plaquemines Parish.
