I am a Master Level Certified Hazardous Materials Manager with 18 years environmental contracting and consulting experience managing a wide range of multi-disciplinary projects involving complex environmental and engineering issues.  I've performed and managed numerous projects for the USEPA, FEMA, AFCEE, USACE, USGS, GSA, and commercial clients such as CSX, Dominion, Arco, Honeywell, Dupont, Phillip Morris, and Alcoa.

My most recent experience includes continued deployment in the response and recovery to the Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Ike disasters working for FEMA as a Project Officer and Environmental Specialist.  Past experience includes service as a Response Manager for U.S. EPA Region VIII under the Emergency and Rapid Response Contract and service as an environmental analyst in the Superfund Site Assessment section of the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VDEQ).  Additional experience include managing international project work for AFCEE in Turkey, for International Paper in Costa Rica, and for the Army Corps of Engineers in Saipan.

As a  Senior Scientist and Project Manager for URS Corporation, I am working on assignment serving in the FEMA Hurricane Ike Area Field Office in Galveston, Texas.  For more than three years, my work with FEMA has included both response and recovery activities for the Infrastructure Branch - Public Assistance Section as an Environmental Specialist, Reports Specialist, and Project Officer.

I am currently working as an Environmental Specialist reviewing public infrastructure restoration projects for compliance with NEPA and other laws and executive orders.  My responsibilities include hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste technical assistance, temporary housing site suitability surveys, flood plain Executive Order (E.O.) 11988 review, wetlands E.O. 11990 review, threatened and endangered species surveys, and coastal resource protection .
